At the end of the regular season, the Chiefs were openly playing the fool. Not that at all, but clearly did not turn on to the fullest. In their last 8 games, Kansas have never won by more than 6 points, usually staying 2-3. This, however, did not prevent Andy Reed’s team from confidently winning AFC, and ahead of schedule – on the 17th week against the Charges the leaders, including Mahomes, got rest, the match did not decide anything.
Before the start of the playoffs, the Browns faced a difficulty – the coaching staff had to be quickly reshaped, as head coach Kevin Stefanski was unable to attend the game due to illness. Despite the unpleasant pre-match alignment, Cleveland simply crushed Pittsburgh in the first quarter. Ben Rotlisberger threw 3 interceptions and the Browns closed the opening 28-0. Then the Steelers still managed to level the game and impose a fight, but the handicap was not won back. 48:37 – Cleveland moves on.
